DVA aircraft have Checklist and Reference install already. At the bottom of them it says, Copyright Premier Aircraft Design. I went to their website and i cant find them. I got them for some other aircraft I have and I want to get them for some more aircraft I just got. Can someone help?

Premier Aircraft Designs would only have checklists and such for the aircraft they designed http://www.premaircraft.com/index.html these. I suppose we took the checklists from their A/C and put them in the DVA Package. You will have to be more specific with what aircraft you "just got" so that we can help you as to where you can find manuals and checklists for them. Nice to see you joined on July 29th 2006 but don't you want a PID?

I like you signature. I always look at it. Anyways, I am planning to do a Flight soon. I have lots of flight simulator hours though. Also, the aircrafts I want the Ref, and Checklist for is the A340 basically. I have them for the A320 but i forget where i got them from.

Just as an FYI...you do realize that you cannot PIREP flights for the A340? You are a first officer in a stage 1 aircraft. The A320 is a stage 2 and the A340 is a stage 4. Perhaps you should pick a stage 1 aircraft for your first flight?

Flight hours don't count for much here. With DVA it is the number of takeoffs and landings that count. Since you are in a stage 1 program, if you try to pirep for equipment that you are not rated for, your pirep will be disapproved.

Aircraft program placement is based on the entry exam you took when you applied at DVA. Regardless of how many hours you have flown in the past (or takeoffs and landings), you have been assigned to the CRJ program based on that exam score. You will have the opportunity to fly other aircraft if you wish, but you must first put in some time at DVA and move into those programs. Take a look at the promotions manual in the document library for more information on movement into other programs.

Oliver, how did you know how much hours I have with VAC. Like VAC has over or almost 4000 pilots. Did you look through EVERY pilots?

So i went to VAC's website. (I fly the A340-500 with them.) Went to the Toronto hub (started there first since its my hub) went to the Roster page Then at the top of Mozilla Firefox clicked Edit then "Find in this page" typed "Andre Campbell" and boom your name came up http://vac.andrewellsworth.name/flightoperations/logbook1.cfm?icao=VAC2212&Formhub=YYZ oh and VAC has 1221 active pilots (Its on the homepage).

VAC has over 4000 pilots. I also have a lot more hours than that. I flew ALOT before I ever joined a Virtual Airline.

Would love to know where the other 2759 pilots are. Just because you have people with a PID of 4037 doesn't mean there were 4036 pilots before him, the 4 just means he belongs to the Winnipeg hub, just like how have a PID starting with 2 means you belong to the Toronto hub.

From the About us page - "Virtual Air Canada has served more than 4000+ virtual pilots since 1998 ". That does not tell me that they currently have 4000 pilots, just that since 1998 they have had 4000 pilots.

It doesn't matter anyway, they cannot beat the outstanding members and staff here at DVA. Not to mention the friendly people to fly with. Why don't you join us sometime on a flight proudly displaying the Delta colors? It would be a shame for you to reach your first anniversary here, and never flown a single flight with us.

Using the same logic, you could say that DVA has over 6000 pilots when really there's just shy of 2300 pilots active. That's like Sony saying they have 300 thousand subscribers to Star Wars Galaxies even though the current list of subscribers is a mere fraction of that.

The key is tense. VAC has HAD over 4000 pilots, DVA has HAD over 6000 pilots, Sony has HAD 300 thousand subscribers (in their dreams, maybe).
