I just wanted to pose the question as to why the airline aligned with Air France Virtual doesn't have a French language option for installers? It would be simple enough to translate the main screens. I think that action would definitely help out the airline in expanding and growing.

if they were to do that Stephen, then they would have to do the same in Spanish, its quite a bit of work if you see what i mean....

Or, maybe if they join Air France Virtuel, they may have that option since its the French side....

The unfortunate problem we face is that despite a decade of instruction in the language, my French is awful. If I could get a volunteer to translate the two dozen or so language files, I'd be delighted. We already have English, Spanish, Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese.

Something else.....since ENGLISH is the ONLY OFFICIAL language for aviation, seems fitting that DVA offers english only installers.

I better strap on my armor for that one.....there are always people who will try to counter that biggrin

Actually, Michael, as Luke mentioned above, we've got four languages currently in the installers. We got those because folks who are fluent in those languages volunteered to help Luke out with translations of the text strings, to properly internationalize them. So if any fluent French-speakers can devote some time to helping with the translations, we can have French installers!

While I won't pretend to be fluent in French, I know enough at least to assist in translating anything. The part which would give me the most trouble is the legal stuff to which one must agree. However, I noticed the Dutch installer leaves this part in English, so maybe there is hope. On ne saura jamais sans essayer!
