Congratulations to Senior Captain Terry Eshenour (DVA057) for passing his Commercial Checkride this evening. He showed his piloting skills were up to the commercial standards. Fred E Gator and Bull "Dawg" had front taxiway sets to observe the take-offs and landing performance and were heard talking about the "exceptional skills of the pilot" as they headed to the swamp..

First, the Flight Academy instructors are fantastic teachers. They are devoted, talented and skilled instructors. Fortunately in my case they are extremely patient. If they were ever frustrated, it wasn't made known to me. (I now know why headsets have a mute button. LOL) I had 10 sessions with an instructor in the cockpit or about 20 man-hours of valuable time.
Second, the coursework is written for easy reading with diagrams and charts. A non-aviator like myself could make sense of it without getting bored or lost. The progression is logical and supportive.
Third, thank you for your overly generous words of praise and support.

They do a fantastic job, always have, I really encourage everyone who has the time to go through the PPL and COMM programs, it is well worth the time and effort whether you are an aviator or not.
