Welcome aboard. I've only been a member since Sept 06, and it's just been great. I encourage you to enroll in the Flight Academy and get your PPL. The instructors are very knowledgeable and will giude you towards proper online flying. No matter how much experience you have, they will really enlighten you and set you on the enjoyable way to fly online.

Thanks for the welcome fellow DVA pilots. I look forward immersing myself into DVA. I've had FS products since my youth but really didn't have a interest in flying for VA up until recently. Like some of you I've been doing more of the military flight sim genre. However earlier this year I did a lot of travelling using Delta and KATL/Atlanta became my home away from home including lodging where the Delta flight attendants stay! So that was sort of an inspiration! I also know of a couple former Air Force pilots that I flew with when I was in (6 years back end of E-3 AWACS) that now fly for Delta. I'm also an avid model aircraft builder and also started doing airliners! Again looking forward to chatting/flying with all of you and again thanks for the welcome.

Hey Chris.. I will take note on your 757 comment. As much as I really like the 757 - during my travels with Delta I have never flown in the 757 but flew mainly the Mad Dog and the 767. But to be fair about it - I've flown several missions in the C-32A when I was in the Air Force. Decisions ... Decisions...
