Landies and Gents,

This week we have a different weekly report.

Do you know what I like about DVA? You come with a good idea and the senior staff make it happen!!

As you may noticed, now you see L-1011-100 and L-1011-500. I asked Luke if we could split the L-1011 rating in two and its here!!!

The program name changed to L-1011-100 Program!!

Now you have two aircraft to fly:

L-1011-100 -> Larger aircraft and its range go to approximately 4,700 mi (7,600 km)

L-1011-500 -> Smaller than the Series 100 and its range go to approximately 6,400 mi (10,400 km)

So now you have more options to fly...so get FS fired up and Happy Flying!!!

So, does this mean I need to get a rating in the 500? I don't see an option for it, and I got the L1011 rating awhile ago... therefore I figure i would be grandfathered in.

I forgot to mention, everybody that was rated for the L-1011 now is rated for the Series 100 and the Series 500!!

Mike,

I opened an Issue Tracker about it. Very Soon all L-1011 rated pilots will have the Series 500 rating!
