You may note that the Fleet Library is no longer available from the Pilot Center. Over the next 24 hours, the Fleet will be updated and pushed out to our four mirror sites. This is an extensive operation and has been in the works for several weeks now.
You will notice a few noticeable additions and changes. We've added the 707 and A318 for Air France, the 747-100 for Delta, as well as a number of additional 737, 757, 767 and 777 textures. There are new panels for the 737-800 and 777. I've managed to solve the "shiny silver airplane" bug on the MD-88 and other planes, as well as the black textures on the 757 and other birds.
You'll also find that our installers have multiple languge support. We're currently supporting English, Spanish, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese and French. We've got an international airline, and we hope to provide facilities to help people across the world access what I think is the best virtual airline fleet around.
There are other minor ergonomic enhancements as well. The new installers have the ability to save and reuse downloaded sound packages, to make reinstalls easy. We support selective uninstall, to allow addition and removal of texture sets at will. We're also a little bit nicer with fancy splash screens and a slightly better UI. Some airline design groups are using ClickTeam to build installers; we have been the bar for them to reach for a year now, and we've just raised it.
I'll let you know when things are in place. Thanks to the generosity of James Brickell, Brandon Andreason and especially Dennis Cherney, we have 3 mirrors in place to host our files. We've got great translations thanks to Ariel Griotti, Pablo Fraga, Larry Foltran, Sanders Jordan, Geert Koetje, James Brickell and Jean-Christophe Clerson. You're going to have a great weekend.

Woohoo! Thanks to Luke, Matt, and all the people who have been tweaking and hacking on these things, it's a major effort.
Are there any of the aircraft that we need to completely uninstall before reinstalling the new version, or can we just rerun the installers over top of what we already have? I remember royally screwing up my MD-88 when I installed the last revision over top of the one before that.

Are you going to update the new planes in the fleet installer to the planes that we qualify to fly. For example: You're adding an A318 to the fleet installer, but that plane is not on the qualifications list. That's just an example, but I'm sure there's others.

James, the A318 like others, like the 747-400, A320 etc, will be paint in the Air France colours, our code share parthner. So the intention is to provide the pilots the entire fleet to do Delta fights and Code Share flights too.

Sorry I couldn't have been of help with the French translations, I was very busy this past week. Just to add to the suspense a touch more. The Fleet is ready at one mirror, and currently getting uploaded to another. It takes over six and a half hours to push it out per mirror, so I'm going to keep the second upload going while I cook dinner. Around 8 or 9 pm ET the link will become available.

Serves me right. I've found at least two errata in the Fleet Library thus far. The DC-10 incorrectly credits Steffan Ahlberg for a panel we no longer use, and more importantly the 737-200 is missing the center fuel tank. Argh. We'll get it all worked out this weekend.

Nice job. I really hate to be critical but I found another error. When trying to download the MD-88, I instead got the file for the MD-90. Also when trying to download the MD-90 file, thinking it might be reversed with the 88 file, I instead got the Online Toolkit file. I've yet to find the MD-88 file. Otherwise, everything looks terrific.

I better correct myself. I just found the MD-88 when trying to download the MD11. If you try to download the Online Flying Kit, there is an error-file not found.
