Hello Guys,

I've run into something for the first time and I'm not sure if this is a glitch or actually how the system is setup... Stage 4 pilot climbs into a (something other than a Stage 4) and does an 8+ hour flight offline. Will this flight be credited to the pilot in any manner?

I've got two flights I recently flew offline in something other than my program aircraft, and neither of these flights are being counted as flights. Is this the norm?

Thanks,
Gary F

Not sure of your question Gay. If you are qualified to fly the aircraft used, the flight is in the schedule, and the aircraft can safely do the flight then it will count. It may take a day or two for the PIREPs to be processed, but if they were valid flights they will be credited.

Gary,

As long as you're rated to fly that aircraft, you WILL be credited for them.
However, if you're outside of a program (say, the MD11) but rated to fly it, that flight will not count as one of the 10 flights you need for promotion to the left seat.

Clear? smile

Cheers!

Hello Guys,

I apologize for the confusion. I tried to edit my original post to make it a little clearer, but ran into problems so I just left it as it was written.

In my flight log you will see two flights that I flew in something other than the L-1011 (my current program), but which I do hold a rating in. I flew those two flights offline, on my oldest son's Vista system, using FSX. Those two flights should have been flight #295 and #296. Instead of advancing my flight total to 296, for the past several days it's sat at 294. So I'm guessing that offline flights, flown in rated aircraft, but other than current program aircraft, do not count towards cumulative flights flown. Correct?

Thanks for your help! biggrin

They are marked as drafts not as submitted flights to be approved.

Yes Gary they do indeed count towards your total leg count. However, just as Oliver as pointed out, the two flights you speak of are drafts. You'll need to go into your pilot center, click on each flight and fill out all the info manually. Then, at the bottom of the page you'll see a 'submit' button. Notice that after you submit your flight the back ground color turns brownish.

Hope that helps.
