I just passed my 767 captain's exam, and I really like flying the 76, but I'm finding myself much preferring the variety and short hops of the 737. I've read in the Promotion Manual that you can downgrade to a lower level program with no loss of certification. My question is, since I'll probably be doing 80-90% of my flying in the 737, should I transfer to that program? And, if so, why?

I think you answered your own question. You'll always have the 767 rating so even if you did transfer to the 737 program you'll still be able to fly the 767.

OK, I'm sold. And since I'm a Guppy Wrangler at heart, I'd better head over to the 737 program. Hopefully the next post I make will have a 737 in the signature picture.

I had the same problem. I went through the Mad Dog, 75, and 737. I love them all, the 757 probably being my favorite but my heart is with the CRJ. I love flying into the deep south where you normally won't see mainline aircraft. I don't think you'll ever have a 767 touching down in Macon or Meridian, MS for revenue service

Why not look into the 727-200 program, its a great aircraft, I am working my way there myself, there or the DC-3,6 field, to make home, but I heard its a fun aircraft, you handfly, and it does a lot of short hops, you should give that a try....

Nothing feels as good as setting down the B738 in tiny airfields nestled in the mountains normally suited to RJ's. My favorite experience to date is a cross wind landing in Aspen, CO in the snow.

That's why I like the CRJ's-they go places no other a/c can dream of going. If mosy of your flights are with the 737 then yes switch to that program! Looks like your picture was changed too.
