Captain Arnie Horn (DVA4413) passed his PPL checkride this evening. Congrats are in order. He flew his checkride to PPL standards and was looking for the GATOR during his touch n goes at KMLB. At his traditional PPL shirt cutting party at the Dawg and Gator Backcourse Grill , Arnie found the GATOR who was celebrating his victory this weekend. We look forward to having Arnie in the commercial course.

Thanks for all the congrats. Special thanks also to William Bunn my fearless instructor and the tired, oops... i mean tireless, Scott Clarke my examiner, for putting up with my flying. I only had to wake him twice (glad he missed most of the checkride).
In all seriousness, I personally have never had such a unique and rewarding experience as I did in this course. The voluntary efforts of all the instructors is unparalleled in my experience anywhere on the net. Tell me where you can get such one-on-one personalized instruction. This is a truly a wonderful group and I appreciate being a part of it. Thank you to all.
