I earned my PPL ASEL in 1995 and currently have nearly 1,000 real world hours, I've also been involved in several virtual airlines over the years and I just wanted to pass along my impression of DVA in the short time I've been here. Simply put, this VA is amazing, I love the interaction between pilots and staff, the high level of activity on the website, ACARS and just the passion for flying in general and the awesome technologies available here (ACARS is above and beyond anything I've seen elsewhere). Most of all i wanted to express my appreciation for the written exams. I've taken many written tests at other VA's and being a real world pilot they tend to be very simple requiring little to no study or research for me to easily pass. The exams here at DVA are challenging and I find myself questioning my own aviation knowledge in all respects! I have to research and read a lot to find some of the answers which is refreshing and is good at keeping me "sharp." I just wanted to pass along a real-world pilots impression so some of the virtual only members can have an appreciation for the level of realism involved in those exams.

Consider this a hearty THANK YOU to the management and leadership of this organization. Keep up the outstanding work!

Nathan: Our test questions come from many real world and virtual aviation sources, FAA Handbook, AIM, etc. Many of our staff have real world certificates like private, commercial, instrument,CFI, CFII, etc....Glad you are happy and having fun. When the flight academy opens up for students again, sign up for the courses.... smile
