Robert Tally, DVA3799, has been promoted to Senior Captain in the DC-8. Robert Tally recently served as the DC-8 Chief Pilot and before that, the assistant DC-8 Chief Pilot and before that, a DVA Flight Academy Flight Instructor.
Thank you Robert for all the time and dedication that you have given to DVA. I personally appreciate all you have done for us and hope we get to do some flying together in the future. Save me a spot on the ramp and we'll get those DC-8s fired up and go for a spin somewhere!

Thank you all for the kind words. The effort was not worth mentioning considering what I got back from working with this great VA. You are all a fantastic and fun bunch of people. Rest assured you will be seeing me around and once I retire in 8 years I will be back looking for work. 
George, Some day lets leave all the passengers on the tarmac and see if my Convair can keep up with the DC-8. Just don't let Terry know we are drag racing without any possible revenue.
