	From Richard Anderson, Delta's CEO weekly message "Big week for us. On Friday we are going to take delivery on a new 777-200 LongRange aircraft from Boeing. It's the world's longest-range commercial jetliner, and the very first new delivery of a wide body in six years at Delta. We are the U.S. launch customer for Boeing on this airplane. It is an airplane that has new motors on it and is an extra long range airplane. It will enable us to fly non-stop to ultra long- destinations across Asia, India and the Middle East. It will feature our new full-lie flat seat in business class and our new in flight entertainment system throughout the cabin. We’ll have special events beginning in Seattle on February 28th. Employees, many of the good friends of Delta and key customers will be on the delivery flight." A total of 8 LR's will enter Delta's fleet between Feb. 2008-Mar. 2009.
