I've updated the Convair 880 and 990 installers to support the new panels from HJG. These aircraft have had their FDE extensively updated by HJG to properly support the maximum speeds of these aircraft. Additionally, our FDEs were *FAR* more benign than the aircraft in real life. I'd encourage all of you with an interest in historical aircraft to give these birds a whirl. They're fast; both at cruise and on approach. No more 125kt VREFs!
As an added bonus, they're FSX-compatible.

One thing to remember about the Convair, she does NOT want to slow down! Plan on a much more gentle descent from much farther out in order to keep your speed under control. Spoilers cannot be used in flight to help you slow down.

I just took her on a whirl around, lovin' the black smoke on take off. Also I did really really really notice that this bird hates slowing down. She's quite fun, the autopilot system is nice and...well...old.
